Hey everyone!

I was looking through my camera roll the other day and realized I completely forgot to share a project I finished last year. Life gets busy, but these were too cute to leave hidden away in my digital archives!

Take a look at these handmade Halloween-themed bowl cozies! 🎃👻

I found this adorable festive fabric featuring ghosts, bats, jack-o'-lanterns, and witch hats, and I knew exactly what it needed to become. If you’ve never used a bowl cozy before, they are absolute lifesavers. You wrap them around your ceramic bowls before microwaving soup, oatmeal, or leftovers, and you can pull the whole thing out safely without burning your fingers.

Here they are sitting right by my trusty Singer sewing machine, where all the magic happens:

They are quilted with simple darts to give them that perfect bowl-hugging shape, and they nest inside each other beautifully for easy storage. They fit standard kitchen bowls perfectly to provide insulation:

Even though we are past Halloween, I’m still using these every single day. Honestly, who says you can't have a little spooky flair in your kitchen all year round?
