Sorry, done with more of Patchwork, was making do with Fabric I had on hand to use!

Good sewing project for beginners and for those who like freshening up on their sewing skills. 🪡🧵📏📐✂️

A combination of seamstress, dressmaking, patchworking, quilting skills are in this project.

PS.  To clarify this, I attend a "Go Live" on Tuesday nights  on Tiktok where the insructor "Denise" teaches and helps members of the Super Fan to come together to sew or quilt projects together.  Emails are disbursed with instructions ahead of time by "Angel" to prepare us for that Tuesday night.  Some may sew along together and some may choose to do after.  We share with another the project we made and encourage each other.

Sewing Instructions

Step 1 — Prepare the Pocket

1. Fold the top edge of the pocket down 1/4 inch and press.

2. Fold again 1/2 inch and stitch.

3. Fold remaining sides under 1/4 inch and press.

4. Pin pocket onto the apron front.

5. Stitch around sides and bottom.

Tip: Divide the pocket into sections with vertical stitching for utensils, scissors, or clothespins.

Step 2 — Hem the Apron

1. Fold all apron edges under 1/4 inch and press.

2. Fold again 1/2 inch.

3. Stitch around all sides except the top edge.

Step 3 — Make the Waist Ties

1. Fold each tie strip lengthwise with right sides together.

2. Stitch along the long edge and one short edge.

3. Turn right side out.

4. Press flat.

5. Topstitch if desired.

2. Open and fold raw long edges toward center crease.
